Admission
prerequisites
Basic knowledge in music production and use of computer music software. Basic understanding of music theory and song structures. It is necessary to have previous experience in the field of music production to be able to integrate the training system.

The training includes mixing techniques and advanced use of plugins on Pro Tools. What you learn here will equip you to successfully complete a variety of musical projects, such as recording, mixing, and mastering your compositions.

It is important to note that learning to use software is one thing; getting in-depth training in the field of current music is another. At the Sound Academy, you will benefit from a complete and ideal training to achieve your goals.

Module 1: Mixing and Balancing Audio Tracks

Mix Preparation and Analysis: Organization of sessions, management of audio levels, balancing volumes, adapting to artistic needs, avoiding common mistakes, use of compressors and limiters.

Fundamental Mixing Techniques: Volume balancing, spatial positioning, use of stereo space, equalization for clarity and balance.

Advanced Mixing Techniques: Dynamic processing, normalization of sound levels, application of effects for soundscapes, automation to dynamize the mix.

Module 2: Creating Masters and Optimizing Sound Quality

Mastering Fundamentals: Focus on listening critically, identifying the necessary improvements, and choosing the right tools and techniques for mastering.

Advanced Mastering Techniques: Deepening the balancing of the sound spectrum, managing volume peaks and verifying audio quality according to standards.

Finalization and Distribution: Preparation of tracks for distribution, including format conversion and mastering adaptation for various media and platforms.

Module 3: Remastering an Ancient Music Production

Analysis and Restoration: Assessment of old recordings to identify restoration needs and application of techniques to improve sound quality.

Remastering techniques: Application of modern mastering techniques to update recordings, with a focus on spectral balance, volume management and optimization for current standards.

Finalization and Export: Preparation of recordings for distribution, including the revision of file formats and the export in high quality, followed by practical and evaluation projects.
